This knife is new unused. I purchased it from Jeff. He was watching Bear Gryllis on Man Verses Wild and noticed the custom knife Bear was using. Jeff decided to attempt to reproduce that knife. I believe he came real close. Bear was using A $700 custom knife. Let's compare. Bear's knife had 6 indations (strange serrations) starting from where the blade meets the choil, 1.57". Jeff's has the same 6 indations 1.57" Jeff's are wickedly sharp. Bear's knife was full tang constructio. Jeff's knife full tang construction Bear's handle 4.52" black G-10 scales, Jeff's handle 4 1/8 black micarta scales" Bear's blade 3.93", Jeff's blade 3.75" Jeff's OAL length is 8 9/16" Bear's blade .1575" thick, Jeff's blade 3/16" thick. Bear's blade hand polished RWL steel, Jeff's blade 1095 high carbon steel with a dark patina. Jef's logo Jm stamped on one side of blade and his sheath Bear's knife had 2 rivit holes in the handle, Jeff put 3 brass rivit holes Bear's blade 1.18" wide, Jeff's blade 1.25" wide. Bear carried his knife in a horizontal leather sheath, Jeff made a heavy duty brown leather horizontal sheath. There you have it.
