I had a knifemaker friend take this rusty old Case XX machete and make it into a beautiful modern knife. He put a high polish on the blade. Made very nice black micarta scales held on by 3 stainless pins and has the thong hole Some of the deeper scratches can still be seen through the high polish. He made a nice brown leather sheath. He made the sheath to hold the brass blade guard (included) when the machete is being used. Many of the blade guards were lost because when they were taken off they were laid down somewhere and you know what happened. LOST A very nice package and "one-of-a-kind" 15" oal; 10.0" blade Brown leather sheath is included. I had leather maker make the custom sheath. Customers Also Purchased |
