CHARLIE'S "WHEELS OF FORTUNE SHARPENING SYSTEM (SOLD)

Charlie has been making these wheels for many years. They work great for putting an edge on a knife if you know what you are doing. See warning below.

A 2 wheel set. One wheel is for "grit" the other for "polish".

One wheel is a coarse wheel. Grease this wheel with the included grease. Just a little dab will do you. The other wheel is more of a buffing wheel to hone the edge. White buffing compound is included for this wheel.

These wheels fit any 1/2" bench grinder (not included). They can be re-conditioned after about 300-400 sharpenings. The grit is included. The only other thing needed is some carpenders glue (not included)

Both wheels are 8" diameter by 3/4" thick and mount on a 1/2" shaft grinder

Please read and re-read Charlie's instructions that come with the kit. Don't try using these wheels if you don't have confidence in what you are doing. It is easy to over sharpen a knife and ruin it or have the wheels catch an edge. Never turn knife into the edge and use eye protection at all times.
